Deferring an acceptance from UDM

I've been accepted to UDM as a Canadian on Dec 2nd.

I may have to defer the acceptance due to financial issues.

I believe I have heard of other schools like NYU allowing deferences occasionally and wondering if anyone has heard of UDM giving deferences.

That's a case by case thing. I wouldn't take any ones advice on here because they aren't going to be able to give you a definitive answer. Your best bet is to contact the school directly and figure it out from there.

I agree, call the school. Although, UDM doesn't have as many seats as NYU so they may not allow a deference. Additionally, you being an international student might not work in your favor either. When do you plan on being admitted? Do you think taking off 1 year would really help with finances?
