Hi All,
Ive been looking through faculty profiles at top Academic Centers, MGH, Columbia, Johns Hospkins etc and quite a few are listed something along the lines of Attending X Surgeon, Joint Appointment in Y Surgery. For example Henry Brem, Neurosurgey Chair at JH also has "Joint Appontment" in Ophthalmology. Does "JA" mean they perform surgeries in Ophthalmology or whatever; or only those surgeries in direct relation to their primary speciality. So Optho surgeries related to neuro procedures. Bit of a ramble question, but id be pleased for a clarification on this subject. Cheers.
