I was just wondering if anybody has heard from University of Delaware in regards to an interview for Early Decision/Early Review. I had talked to the admissions officer and she said that these applicants would hear by the end of August - since it is almost September, I was curious to see if anybody else has heard or not. Thanks!

Just in case anyone is following this post, I just received an email from UD about an interview invite!

Me too! And me neither! September 11?

Congrats to you both! I was scheduled for September 11th as well, non ED applicant, but I am out of the country until mid-December so I am doing a Skype interview on Tuesday!

I really wish that I was able to go on the 11th, but it is just too expensive to fly home just for a couple days! I would love to hear how Interview Day goes for both of you, and what you think of the school, program, etc.

Just wanted to see what you both thought of Interview Day and the program! I was bummed I wasn't able to make it, but luckily I did a video call last week!

Loved how smoothly the day ran! It's clear that UDel is an established program by the thought and organization they put into the itinerary. The faculty were all really personable too. How did your Skype go?

I think (hope) that it went well. I had a couple connection issues, but other than that, the interview ran smoothly and I look forward to hearing their decision. They said it would maybe be next week, right?

Loved it also. Really cool faculty and facilities. They said we'd hear back by the 24th. That date could've just been for the ED students, but I don't think so.

Ditto! 2019, is it your first choice?

It is definitely starting to feel like my first choice, but it stinks because I won't here from other schools until December. What about you??

Also, congrats to you both!!

Hi all,

Congratulations on your acceptances to Udel! What was Interview Day like? What kinds of things did you all do? Anything that I absolutely need to bring? How long did they interview you for? What kinds of questions?

Has any one heard from UDel for interviews or acceptances recently?

Unfortunately I havent yet. I am in their third round of admissions, but they finally contacted me to say my application was still being reviewed.

Hello,
Has anyone from the Oct 12th Interview heard back about a decision? If not, do you know when we will?

Neither I nor my friend who attended have heard anything. They mentioned at the interview that they were planning to meet (what is now) last Thursday, 10/22 to discuss acceptances, so hopefully we'll hear soon.

Edited for clarity.

Congrats to you as well! At the interview day I was told that they would notify us if we were offered any scholarships in the initial acceptance email, which held true in my case.

I am still waiting upon other schools, so I am not sure yet. What about you?

I am highly considering it, I really liked their program. The only thing holding me back is money since I have a significantly cheaper option on the table. Looks like we will have to figure it out soon though!

Yeah! That is awesome! What is the other school you are considering? Why does money always have to be a factor....lol I am in the same situation.

Hi. Had a great interview at UDEL on November 9 and have not received an email. Any thoughts?

Had what I thought was a great interview November 9 but haven't heard anything....
When was your interview?

I interviewed 11/30. They said it should take about 2 weeks to hear something, but I have a deposit deadline for my first choice school coming up so I will probably call them next week.

I've heard nothing 🙁

Not yet, it has only been a few days for me. They should inform you of their decision either way.

I was also accepted! And I am also unsure of whether to go here or to an in-state school for half the cost. For those of you in the same situation, what did you end up deciding? Do you think it's feasible to pay off 100 grand worth of debt as a physical therapist?

May I ask when you had your interview?

I am struggling with the same dilemma! What is your in-state option?

November 9th! That's strange they haven't gotten back to you yet. Have you sent Nancy an email about it?

Eastern Washington University (around 5ok) and University of Washington (around 70k) are the two in-state for me. It's hard for me to justify going out of state for twice the price!

Where did you go to undergrad? I went to UW!

Interviewed on 11/30 and just got my acceptance letter this morning (12/9)!!!! Very exciting! Same situation as @ART12394 and @PT2019Student though. I went to UW and still waiting to hear back from them. Would love to hear updates from you guys.

Congrats! Go Dawgs! I'm glad to hear there are others from UW. I was the only one during my interview day from the West Coast.

I decided to go to UD! I was put on the waitlist for in state schools and I didn't want to risk not getting in.
