delay in scoring

people taking their step2ck in august will ahve their scores delayed 6-8 weeks. would this hold true for people taking step 2ck on sept 1st or in sept in general, or would these students receive their score in the 3-4 weeks period. because if that is the case, then it would be much more beneficial in taking the exam sept 1st instead of august 20th for example

I am taking it Sept 26 and they (NBME) told me the scores would be reported by mid October.

I took mine on August 1st. Would I be correct in assuming that I'll get my score in about 3-4 weeks??
