I would vote between USC or Case. You don't have much going in your pros list for Loyola besides a few friends (which you will make in med school) and the shared google drive of resources (which most other medical schools have).

Plenty of people match in CA at Case and your cons rest on weather (fluctuates unless you REALLY despise the cold), less name recog (who cares who knows the name of your school outside of medicine?), area, and the possibility of not liking PBL. You had a great pros list for this institution.

Comparing these 3 options, you have the longest pros list for Case, so I would go with that one. And like already mentioned, you'd definetly have no problems matching in CA from Case. A lot of people do actually. Also the lower cost of living is always a plus and will lower the amount you'd have to spend on rent. You also mentioned that you vibed well with the student population at Case, which is always a positive! I think you know your choice. Congrats!

I feel like with the combination of wanting to match in CA and the weather, I would pick USC. Both USC and Case will get you where you want to go, but I really think it is important to enjoy your time in medical school, which given your post, I think you would at USC more.

Very good point lol. I think I would choose USC if not for the recent scandals they've had. Is the weather really that bad in the midwest?
I've been in Cleveland for almost 6 years. Coming from the south - yes.

edit: not saying this to change your mind, but I've seen a lot of people from California emotionally affected by the drastic weather change. Case is obviously a great school, so just prepare yourself because winters can be brutal.

Yoooooo didn't I see you on the Keck thread LOL

OP, go to wherever gives you better fin aid or where you can see yourself living for the next four years. You'll have no problem matching after at either institution
