I have no idea if they keep track of it or not, but i don't think it's anything to worry about. In hindsight probably would have been professional to reach out soon after and apologize for missing it. I doubt they'll remember or keep track of a missed advising appointment, especially since it's been a year.

All in all I don't really know, but I would definitely not worry about it. Like, at all. I understand your thought process though because I worry about minuscule stuff like that as well, especially since it's my dream school. But their advising appointments are very very helpful, so I hope you find it as informative and helpful as I did! Best of luck!

So I missed my over the phone meet with MSUCOM last year (due to some issues) and I rescheduled one for next month. I was wondering if they keep a record of how many appointments we schedule/miss and whether it'll look bad that I missed the meeting last year (trying to stay on the good side!).

During your apt next month say something like:

I sincerely want to apologize again for missing our meeting last year. I was unexpectedly away due to ___________ (family illness, death in family, a work issue, etc etc). Then thank them for taking the time out of their busy schedule to meet with you at this time.

Then move on with the content of the meeting. At that point you've done all you can do so don't worry over it, as there are many things much worse to worry over.

I canceled my telephone advising appointment 3 times due to work conflicts, and it was fine.
Did you inform them you were missing the appointment prior to?
If so, it would have been best to formally apologize to maintain a sense of professionalism, but if not I wouldn't sweat it at this point.
