you can be a resident and have a psychology today profile. license is sufficient to get verified.
Im not sure about zocdoc, but they seem to create profiles for everyone regardless of whether you want one so they probably already have your profile for you to claim. It sounds awful and I would avoid using it since they charge you for anyone who books an appt regardless of whether they cancel or turn up.
