true, and that's my first instinct. but could it be seen as withholding some pertinent info? If I'm in their shoes, I'm probably going to ask the candidate about their grades in the last term anywaysduring the interview, so a part of me feels that I should just update them so it's all fair and out there. The school doesn't seem to require any updates but it does allow them.

Then again I could just wait for them to ask and tell them. In the case I don't update them and just face the music during the interview, how should I go about it?

They'll find out anyway when they get all your transcripts.
