lol What? You apply and get your dental license. The only reason the adex would expire is if you don’t end up with the license which wouldn’t make any sense at all

the persons non cat said they are exempt from getting their dental license at least for the year, and then the assumption is that you don't need the license for when you're a resident too?

Doesn’t matter. Why would you take your adex if you’re not getting your license. This is all around dumb. Take the adex get your license. You or your friend should get your license in case you/they don’t match.
