There's a girl in our class who is an ATC and works as a trainer for the NU football team...I've never asked her if they're giving her discounts on tuition, but I know she's getting paid since it is a job (not sure how much). I don't know if it's really an assistantship or rather she got the job as the trainer and happens to be in the program.

Gannon University in Erie, PA has assistantships, including an AT one. My roommate for next year got one of the AT positions.

I talked to a lady at a graduate school fair representing one university about it and she said her university doesn't offer this because it would be way too strenuous to try to both go to physical therapy school and hold down a graduate assistantship at the same time.

but if anyone knows of anymore I too would be interested in such a position.
