Hey Everyone,

I just wanted to inform all of you of the Medical Practice and Policy study abroad program that DIS http://www.disp.dk offers and see if any fellow SDN'ers will be joining me in the fall. The program is designed for pre-med students and is offered in English. The core courses are taught at the National University Hospital by senior faculty and provide a hands on approach to the introduction of the study of medicine. The content seems like a very stripped down version of first year medical school. In conjunction with the core class you take a class about the socialized system of health care in Scandinavia and are also able to take classes in biomedical ethics as well as other humanities courses. This seems like the perfect opportunity for a pre-med student because you are given a taste of what medical school might encompass.
