Question on the ADEA: Has your education ever been interrupted or affected adversely for reasons other than deficiencies in conduct or academic performance?

I really don't know how to answer the question, and I need your folks' helps to decide whether or not to answer it. In 2013, I was at one of my state universities trying to finish my BS in biology and also tried to apply for dental school. However, things took a big turn on me. My older brother got diagnose with leukemia in 2013, and I saw my family was suffering and couldn't be that selfish. So I decided to withdraw from my university and dental application. I stopped for one semester just working full time as a dental hygienist. Then my brother felt much better and we got other relatives to help us out. Finally I went back to school in Jan. of 2014, however at this time, I changed my school to finish my BS completion degree in dental hygiene online. That's only way I can still be able to work full time and support the family. So pretty much that's my story and do you think I should answer the question? Please help, I really appreciate it!

Thanks!

Of course you should, this is a legitimate interruption to your education and it continued effect you when you resumed your education.
