I dont know about you, but to me it seems that the dental interview is just one incredibly tough and stressful situation, even though the interviewers want it to be relaxed.

The school I interviewed at surprised me with 4 interviewers rather than 3 (according to the interview feedback). Not only that, but they literally made me want to break down and cry (thankfully I didnt). My mouth went dry midway through, and I was just extremely uncomfortable.

On the other hand... Today I had a job interview, and it seemed like the easiest thing in the world by comparison, even though they did ask tough questions. It was easier to joke around, and to show them what I was really like. The dental school interview just doesnt feel the same... Maybe it was that one particular school. I guess I wont know until I get interviews at others.

its probably just that one school. i have yet to go to an interview where i didn't feel completely relaxed...

My interviews have been pretty relaxed and low stress so far and I have yet felt the need to cry during any of them. The stress is also increased for dental school because you have so much more riding on it then a job which will most likely last less than a year if you start dental school in Fall 08.

Which school was it? If you're referring to UF, then don't sweat it, we've all been there.
