Hi everyone,

I am applying this year and these are roughly what I have on my application so far:
UCLA gpa: 3.46, CCC gpa: 3.7 sgpa: 3.5 B.S in Microbio
DAT: AA:20, TS:21, PAT: 20
2 years of research+ one publication
full time dental assistant, have taken waxing and denture courses at UCLA dental school

now the thing is I have been accepted into a dental Lab Tech program at a community college , which is a two year program... and I really think that if I don't get accepted this year, having a year of dental lab tech experience would really help me out for the next year. However, I am not sure whether it would be a good idea to include this on my application for this year. would you please give me your opinion on this.
should I indicate this on my application or not? and if so, should I indicate the courses that I will be taking during this year?

P.S. my main goal of applying to such a program is to gain a level of mastery in dental Lab courses, since I know there will a lot of dental lab work in the first two years of dental school.

Put the classes you will be taking in the planned coursework section, but know that any acceptance you get will be conditional on you completing any course that you list.

Wait. You have B.S., research/publications and now you want to go back in time to attend a lab tech program?
