Which dental morphology textbook would you guys recommend for an incoming first year dental student, with no indepth experience in dental morphology. Would like to review before school start. Thanks very much
Our class used the sixth edition of "Dental Anatomy: Its Relevance to Dentistry" by Woelfel/Scheid. It's a great text - clearly written, end of ch. quizzes, pullout diagrams in the back, etc. Seriously, I would find out what text you'll be using in your dental anatomy class next year and use that to "review" before you start this fall... you're gung ho now, but trust me, you won't want to buy 2 textbooks for the same thing later. You should be able to find it on your college's website, from a current first year student there, etc.
