hey guys I have to do a honors project next year to graduae with honors and I would love to do something related to dentistry but obviously not knowing much about the field (scientifically) I need some ideas, as an undergrad student I need to keep it pretty simple but anything i'm sure will help me get going in the right direction.
Thanks

Go to your library and use their access to databases to read journals that include dental research like JADA, JDR, etc...

99% of applicants do not have dental related research prior to dental school. What level of research do you have to do to fulfill the requirement? Materials I used in my genetic research were very expensive and you don't have funding or your own lab so I would suggest finding a professor in molecular biology, biochem, physiology, etc... and tag-along with their project.

Don't you need to locate a professor doing it and the ask him/her if they can take you on? You should look up their projects and target the dental ones. Or are you planning to come up with a novel project on your own and pitch it to someone's lab?
