Dental schools have about 10-15% acceptance rate, which means getting accepted to dental school is really tough. However, predents shows that schools have 5-50% yields. If it's so hard to get in, why are the yields so low? Is it because everyone applies to so many schools and that many get accepted to several schools?
What are your opinions on this, please discuss 😀

From what I've read and been told by DS, there are an average 5000 open seats nation wide and 15000 total applicants competing for those spots.

More competition exists at a solitary DS since applicants apply to more than one school, so....yeah
