What is the Worst Dental School out there? I know for instance for Med School that Ross University isn't all that. It is considered an out of country Med school.

Thanks,
PDJ

i don't know what the worst dental school is, but i've heard quite a bit of negative stuff about indiana and usc. apparently, indiana really needs to update their facilities and usc has some problems with their curriculum.

LOL- I should have been more clear in my post. I was meaning in regards to acceptance.

The worst I would say Western

I mean in terms of like GPA and DAT scores.
Like I said Ross University is like the Worst School you can go to for MED.

Ross is offshore... that should not even be talked about when discussing medical schools. Anyone can get in Ross.

if that's what you want, why don't you just check predents.com? you can rank dschools by gpa, sgpa, dat, pat, tuition, etc.. although it dosen't give us the exact stat, but can give you some general idea.

LOL ouch.. haha My cousin actually graduated from their 2 years ago.. and now he is NY doing clinical rotations.. I always knew that had to be a horrible school.. lol So anyother school along the lines of Ross for Dental School?

thanks! i will have to check it out.

I think for Dental school there really isn't any school of last resort that anyone would be able to get into. The people at both Pitt and Columbia said that this year and last year, dental school has overcome med in how competitive it is to get accepted somewhere.

If you're looking at straight numbers, which isn't necessarily the best way to judge it, Meharry has lower scores, but their admissions focus isn't on that as much as it is giving people opportunities to give back to their community, and helping under represented groups be a larger part of the dental community and that kind of thing.
