Dentist Shadowing

Hey yall,

I plan to shadow a dentist during the summer but I haven't started yet. Should I just put this on my application and write the date that I plan to begin and end the experience? I'll also get a nice letter from this dentist but I want it on my application. By the time I have interviews, I will have certainly had many hours of shadowing experience.

What do I do?

I've got the same question basically. I have shadowed two dentists, one established, one fresh out of school (the difference is amazing); however its not been for any appreciable length of time (probably about 30 hours together).

I'm doing a dental internship this summer for school, so I will no doubt have at least that much shadowing experience if not much more by the end of the summer. How do I note this?
