Does anyone here know approximately what the average # of hours of shadowing is done by competitive applicants?
Clearly, the more (to a limit of course) shadowing you have done, the better. But is 50 hours good enough? Or would it honestly help if this was 100 hours instead?

Also, would it help, for admissions purposes, if I continued my shadowing after I have submitted my application to AADSAS. Can I put in the # of hours I intend to shadow until the next cycle?

Some input would be appreciated.

100+ hours is a good goal.

I put down my scheduled shadowing hours which were AFTER I submitted my app. Not a problem.

maybe the question issn't how many hours but how many practices. It would have been cool to write down three practices that I volunteered at instead of one. looks cooler and maybe makes em think your more ""rounded"
