For the descriptions for each activities - you're only allotted 175 characters so obviously not much room. Does it matter if you write in full sentences or do people write in a resume format (Assisted in ...., Volunteered at.., etc). I know for AMCAS they write it in a resume format so I was wondering if there's a preference?

Mixed feelings out there. Search 'bullet' and you'll see some.

Some say it's unprofessional and you should be able to get your point across succinctly (you know we've all mastered the 140....175 should be cake).

Others seem convinced that bullets and incomplete sentences.

The instructions above every field remind you about professionalism (although they're mentioning all caps in that reminder), so I'm sticking with complete thoughts. I don't see how anyone can think ill of a complete sentence. But I could imagine some older gentleman thinking you shouldn't use bullets.

I would use sentences. It's a lot nicer/easier to read. Be succinct, but don't just use bullets. This is all my opinion, but I think the few words you save via bullets, would be better used making complete sentences.

I used bullet and incomplete sentences. I don't think it hurt me.

I think what matters is the content in those bullets/sentences. I'm sure they get alot of bullets and or sentences, so really what matters is the content.
