i just completed datqvault tests (except reading b/c i read the post that it's better to use CDR instead)
20-22 on bio,
21-23 on math,
mostly24 on ochem
mostly 22 on genchem
and also finished taking 5CDP tests (19~21)
so i thought it's time to move on to the reading section
and got 16 and 16 on CDR...what I did was..
As i was reading the whole paragraphs, i wrote down important terms in each paragraph.
and then did questions..
should I change my method ..🙁?
i'm so depressed.........D-DAY......10

I did 2 crack DAT Reading tests, and got 16 on both. Halfway thru on them, i wanted to quit but i finished it.

On real DAT i got 22 😀😀, out of the 50 questions, 40 of them were search and destroy.


during the tutorial in the beginning of the exam, I wrote down 1 - 50 on a paper. (corresponding to the questions)

During RC, i didn't even read the passages went straight to the questions and wrote down a keyword from the questions on the 1-50 paper.

for the 10 tone questions, i guessed on them , didn't have time and still got 22.

I scored a 25 on the real dat. Averaged 19 on Crack the DAT reading. So, don't worry. The questions on the test are straightfoward and I literally think I could have answered them correct without even reading the passage. Pick the most neutral answer choice. I didn't read the passage just search and destroyed went to the paragraph pertaining to each question and read the entire paragraph. I finished 20 minutes early!

My exam is coming up soon and Im getting 16s on datQvault RC🙁
My method is basically reading the passage (which takes forever because the passages are so long) and going through the questions. By the second passage, I only have 30min left (which is when I start to freak out!). I end up only getting through half the second set of questions and I'm forced to up just clicking answers so I don't leave anything blank.

Iv'e seen some posting of people having success using the search and destroy method? How does that work?

Just look for a key word in the question and skim the passage quickly until your eye sees that word. Read the entire paragraph that word is in to answer the question correctly

I score around 18-19 on Crack Dat Reading, and I really suck at reading. What I did was read paragraph 1-3. And answer the first four questions or mark them. Then repeat the steps.
