Well i started bio in destroyer today. I did the first 40 problems and got 7wrong. esp. ones relating to biomes and plant and fungi ( i never learned that stuff). For those of you who took the DAT how would u rate the Bio on the DAT to that of the REAL thing?

I thought some Destroyer questions were stupid...I didn't study them. Those types of questions did not come up on my test.

It depends on whether we are talking about the same questions. This is also just my case. Some (although they might be Romano's students) swear that you should know Destroyer from front to back.

Sublimation, i thought u took ur exam, maybe u r over preparing for yourself 🙂
I got my destroyer today with math destroyer.
I will try first 40 bio questions and tell u my opinion 🙂

p.s. tell me what i should do for RC...it's killing me XD.

youll get better as you move through it

I find that it does a good job of simulating the randomness of the questions that are on the real thing..

also dont forget that your not going to get a section with all problems like destroyer..some will be easier..im sure a few will be harder as well

Whether or not you'll end up seeing one of the exact destroyer questions on the real exam shouldn't matter that much. You may end up seeing a few or you may end up seeing none. What matters is that, in my opnion, destroyer's Bio questions are great for review of concepts you've already learned.
Besides, I think 33/40 is a decent score for first try.

me too...i got 7 wrong out of 40 but then i feel first 40 questions were easy...or maybe i have gotten good😀

listen...what good is buying a book full of questions if your going to get all the questions correct and thus learn nothing?

you should expect to get wrong answers so that you learn..and make your mistakes now so you dont make them on the real thing, otherwise its useless

I know you learn by making mistake but hey i still read explanation regardless of right or wrong but destoryer bio is not that easy either. Nothing will give you solid prep for real DAT bio but just doing as many problems will help you a lot. And the best thing to do is approach problems after solid amount of bio reading from books. Thats what i am doing.

I agree. I'm going to start doing tons of problems once I finish CliffsAP for the first time tomorrow.

Oh yea, def, reading the explanation is a must even if you get it right 👍

I was planning to order the Top Score software and I noticed it said something about that it does not run on mac or something like that?! I tried contacting them which is a voice mail.
Has anyone with a mac notebook used or purchased it?and has it worked?
How about Crack Dat Pat and Achiever?

I just started looking at cliffs and i found it to be a good source, however, they tend to just skim over the basics. Will that suffice for the DAT? I think im gonna go through all of cliffs this week and then get back on destroyer.

cliff is a really good source and yeah if you try your best you can finish it in two to three days with solid memorization. Try to go over it more than two times it ll help.
