The problem presuppose Brown eyes dominant over green eyes. If the green eye lady and brown eye (heterozygous) man mate, what is the ratio of brown to green eyed children?

The solution shows using Bb (male) x bb (female) as if it is XX * XX which is not the case.

I got it right, but I did it differently. Correct me if I'm wrong. But I think the solution is wrong since this is a mating problem. Autosomal cell (the eye cells) contain Y chromosome right?
So shouldn't it be YX x XX
where XX is (X^b X^b)
and XY is (Y X^B)

Brown dominant over green eyes.
B denotes dominant and b denotes greens.
Mother has bb genotypes, while dad has Bb genotypes
the possible genotypes of their kids are 2Bb: 2bb (punnette square)
ratio brown to green is 2:2... simplify them... you will get 1:1
since it didnt mention about sex-linked... you can assume it's about autosomal genes...
