Hey guys,

Im planning on taking the DAT this summer and ive been shopping around for a copy of destroyer. Im ready to drop 150 for it. So i visited the website and saw that the book alone is 150. Which is wat im willing to pay for a new one. HOWEVER, i scrolled down and saw that the odyssey or the ultimate package is 250. How useful is the odyssey...I just finished orgo II this semester...and honestly in my opinion i found it to be 100 times easier then gen chem. I got an A+ in orgo I and all i need is a 63 on the ACS final to get a A+ in orgo II. im not trying to be pretentious, i just want to make sure im not gonna pay for soemthing that ill probably not even use.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. THANKS

I haven't seen or used odyssey but people say its like an actual text book, if you have a text book you might as well go with that, a lot of people say destroyer + KBB/WB and reviewing your text book is good enough for ochem, and you seem to be good at it anyway...100 bucks ain't chump change.

if you found orgo easy then i doubt you would need the odyssey. i definitely recommend the destroyer however, especially if you thought gchem was a little tougher then orgo because the destroyer slams you with gchem. it helped me improve 6 points on the exam 16 > 22!

THanks guys...really appreciate it 🙂. I Dont think ill be buying the bundle...only the book...my orgo book is amazing...i love it.
