So I've looked at a lot of breakdowns and the key to a good score is seems to be the destroyer.... just curious does/did anyone else feel like they have reached a milestone when they could actually attempt to answer all the questions, I mean I was clueless the first go around. Now I'm getting like 50% right (thanks to Chad, of course) but I'm actually excited because I can actually attempt the questions and have some kind of understanding... and usually when the question is wrong the solution begins with... "this is a tough one", or "Trick", or "Trap"......

I sucked at Chemistry in undergrad and just trying to gauge where I'm actually at.... DAT in 12 days eeekkk!!!

Its funny you mentioned "the first time around", because I was going to ask if it is normal to basically get bitch slapped attempting Destroyer for the first time...as well as the Organic Chemistry Odyssey.

Hey, the first time I went thru the Destroyer, I got b*tch slapped around so bad it wasn't even funny. I felt like a total turd. It wasn't until the fourth time around when I started to own it. You don't have to go to the extremes (14x's) as I did, but I think if you go thru it three times, you'll be fine.

Haha I bet. You deserve it brah, I know you worked hard. Hopefully I'll be in your position within the next month to month and a half.

Wheww!!! Just making sure!!! I just wanna get scores like you Letsgo2dschool... I felt the same way wanting a 22, then a 24, now 11 days till dday I'll be happy with a 20 honestly I'll take all 19's just to be down with this exam! Oh and by the way I loved your breakdown... It was hilarious and informative. I really needed the laugh the other day.

You can do it crackedbythedat!!!

I actually felt that way as well. I got pretty bummed out when I got about 30-40% of Destroyer correct. However after Chad's videos and two runs through Cliff's AP Bio, I was getting about 60-70% on my second run through and 90-100% on my third run of Destroyer. So I say you're definitely on the right track if you're getting at least 50% correct. 👍

Good luck!

So when you did the destroyer you didn't look at the answer after the fourth time? What I mean is in my destroyer book I wrote out the answer so that I could learn how to set it up and work it out but I have not been able to do it on my own yet because I'm still watching videos. I was planning to cover the answer I wrote out and see if I could answer it on my own. Is that how you did it?

i havent given the dat, but i have noticed the same thing. not just doing it once tho. revising it multiple times is key

If you have time then great, but don't feel have too, I only got 2/3rd through destroyer gc and less than half oc and managed a 23 and 24 respectively, I would spend more time knowing Chad cold, then spending as much additional time as you have on Destroyer if you want. I got most of my benefit from Achiever and Topscore and then going back to Chad to brush up on weaknesses, I used destroyer as more of a supplement, which is not the norm around these parts...

True.
If you're short on time, I say spend more time on Chad.

I did Destroyer 3 times, but I think twice might have been sufficient enough. But true, you should do it more than once.
