Ok, so my question is on Road Map #1. I thought when a secondary alcohol was oxidized with (KMnO4, OH-/H2O) a carboxylix acid was formed. Maybe I'm going crazy or something, I also looked in my OChem lecture notes and it says the same thing 🙁 (COOH)
So you start with Cyclohexanol (a secondary ROH) and add the above to it. So confused.
