Hey guys! So I was wondering how have you guys been going through the Destroyer?

Do you first attempt it like a real test and go back and read solutions to see how to do it correctly or is your first round a learning process where you learn how to solve the prbs and then the subsequent times you do it like a legit test?

I feel like I am not familiar with how to attack a lot of their questions, so should I just learn to do them and then attack probs? Thank you!

Use the Destroyer as practice! It gives you insight on different ways to approaching a broad number of problems. Do 30 problems a day, 60, etc., whichever you're comfortable with. Then, go back and review the ones you missed. I like the solutions it gives you.

Then, go thru it again but mainly concentrate on the ones you missed and really get a good understanding of the concepts. If you go thru it like a real test, I salute your bravery.

Word of advice: Going thru the Destroyer and transitioning to easier questions like on Topscore or DATQVault, I was so exposed to the really tough questions for a while that being exposed to the easy ones were actually a little harder! 👎 Work Destroyer problems till you get comfortable, but don't neglect the simple questions. Just my 2 cents

Very interesting. Thanks for the heads up. If you had to choose between TS or DQV which would it be?

I'm assuming TA = Topscore?

Honestly, if budget isn't a concern, get Topscore + DQV Biology and Gen Chem (I heard Ochem DQV had mistakes).

If you're on a budget, I like Topscore for the feel of the questions, plus you get all sections of the DAT. Downside: only 3 tests.
I like DQV for the number of practice tests you can take, save your missed questions and go over them again.

I feel like whichever one, you really can't go wrong. It's more of how you make use of em.
