Detail for Micro

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Different viruses are more "high yield" than others. Being able to recognize the symptoms of, say, measles is much more likely to be useful than being able to distinguish between the symptoms of SLE and California encephalitis. That said, it probably wouldn't hurt to know their general classification in the giant happy viral family tree.

Unless you're talking about that other SLE, in which case you'll probably get four different questions about it...

Hey guys,

Quick question. How much detail are we expected to know for Micro? For example, in the virus section, do we need to be able to identify California encephalitis or St. Louis encephalitis from a question or just know which of them are associated with virus family?

Thanks guys.

Every person that has taken the step recently has said: "FA micro is more than enough"

As far as concentrating of california encephalitis etc i ignore it. Unless it presents with a unique symptom.
