I looked at Detroit's website multiple times before to see if I meet all the pre-dental requirements. Then I decided to apply, and paid the fee to AADSAS for mailing my applications to Detroit.

However, now that I visit Detroit's website once again to see supplemental app details, they have NEW requirements for pre-req courses, "effective June 2013" (looks like they changed it later in June since the new requirements weren't there when I checked early June)

and now, you need Microbio and Biochem.

so for those of you like me, who have already graduated and can't take additional courses and don't have Microbio and/or Biochem, don't waste your money applying.

I already wasted mine for paying AADSAS. Thank goodness I didn't pay supp fees.

You can still take those classes through an extension program at many universities...

most schools allow you to continue taking dental pre-reqs until the summer of the matriculating year. You have Fall, Winter, and Spring to take those courses. It's not too late, just resend transcripts during academic update period.

Im applying this year but im taking biochem and microbio this fall. You still have time.
