Glucophage is one medication they give type 2 diabetes. The company Amalyn has just released Symlin which is a once a day injection. I also know some people from Amalyn and it seems like they will be coming out with some other interesting medications in the near future. Of course which medication you use is dependant on the severity of the disease and is why you need to see a doctor if you are having some type of problem.
