So looking back i had a GPA of 3.5 ish and now looking back at aadsas my gpa is a little higher 3.6 and 3.8 science. Does aadsas take in account difficulty of schools or disregard +/- system. My GPA got bumped, but am wondering why/how. I am definitely not complaining though. Anyone have this happen to them?

AADSAS raped my GPA. It dropped both by .13. I guess that's because I dropped two classes and my school didn't count them in my GPA.

i was so mad...my school doesnt use A+'s --it counts them as A's so my GPA looks lower than other ppls 🙁

it can go up or down due to retaken classes, different college GPA calcs or A+s not counting at undergrad.

Mine went up .04

I took this semester off at the beginning (this is my junior year) due to unforeseen circumstances (basically I'm not enrolled as a student this semester). My transcript probably won't show the courses I was supposed to take. Will this affect AADSAS's re-evaluation of my GPA?

AADSAS can't calculate your GPA until it has your official grades. It won't have official grades if you don't submit a transcript showing those classes you were supposed to take. You don't have said transcript because you're not enrolled as a student this semester. clear? 😉

why would a class w/o a grade be calculated into the GPA?

Yes, I doubted that the transcript I will eventually submit will show the classes I was going to take. As it is, my online academic record simply says "Inactive Status" for this semester, curiously with a letter grade "K" (not sure what this is). Maybe I should explain to them that a "K" should not be considered the same as a "W", which is what I'm worried about.

Could someone clarify which grades does aadas take into account? I understand they count withdrawls, you drop a class after the drop day. But, what about if you drop a class before the drop day are these calculated into your Gpa?

someone correct me if im wrong but addsas does not count W's in their GPA.

yeah my school does not allow A+ only A- which is LAME. I would have had a few in my time which would have helped. I emailed the dean and he said since they dont offer F- they dont offer the other extreme A+. My feeling is that an F, F+, and F- are all the same... you FAIL either way.

Schools look at your transcript anyway so they'll see your real GPA.

Those who have the A+,A,A-, B+,B etc grades are pretty lucky! At my school they only do A,B,C,D and F so im interested with how the AADSAS would calculate it especially since they could drop or raise the GPA...
