ive heard that achiever has a lot of material they test you on that is not relevant for the DAT and is a lot harder than it actually is.

Even though it is harder than the real DAT, did Achiever actually help you understand material for the DAT?

My first time, No.
This will be my second, and I dropped Achiever for TSP and Chad's vids, alongside DAT destroyer.

Yes - helped me incredibly! Even though the science questions they give you are likely to be harder than the actual DAT, it prepares you for the worst case scenario. Also the PAT on Achiever really helps whip you into good shape for keyholes and proportions.

Don't freak out if you get lower scores than you'd like to see, but rather use it as a diagnostic for where you are weak and review those areas. I'd advise not doing Achiever the week of your exam, but the week before. Also go through the entire test as you would the real DAT, if you can make it through all the sections, the real DAT will be a walk in the park.

I dont necessarily think using Achiever for all the sections is a good idea especially if you have not gone through Destroyer or Qvault. BUT for PAT you should use it! It will really help

I've had like 2 questions that were really identical on my Biology DAT similar to Achiever 3 days ago. =) The rest for chem and ochem were similar in concepts.
