Hey Guys,
Over at the pre-allo forum we are constantly trying to figure out what is disadvantage and how it effects your application. We've had several threads about it and the answers are just premed students guessing.
As medical students, tell us your thoughts. Did any of you apply as disadvantaged students? How did it affect your application? Did it help or hurt you, in your opinion? Did it make any difference? How about interviews, did they bring it up? Any thoughts about the process would be great for us in the process of currently applying.
Do adcoms even consider if you apply disadvantaged? How does it make a difference?
Thoughts, experiences, anything would be great.
