Did anyone do IV qBANK ?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I owned it because it came for free and did maybe 40% of it. I thought it would be most helpful if you are doing 50 questions a night while you're studying. Overall, it was too easy (but was OK for PART of your review, to really emphasize the good stuff). I didn't really think there were many questions in that format on the boards. I'd say its best point was to get you thinking about all aspects of something (symptoms, genes, labs, treatment of one disease) which is something you need to do to work through 2 and 3 step problems.

I didn't get it but most of my clasmates said it was a waste of time. The major complaints were that it was too easy and that you could figure out a lot of the quesitons form the material presented in other quesitons. Seems like it would be best for learning something you haven't reviewed.

I'm sure there were poeple who found it useful - I just haven't heard anybody say that

I got through IV Qbank through 2nd year. I would do only a few questions at a time when I got bored with what I was studying. In retrospect, I don't think it was worth it, as I had the Step I from hell!

If it were free, it may be worth it, if you feel completely clueless as to what may be tested. Otherwise stick with other resources as they will prove to be a better use of your time (and money).

Hope that helps. 🙂
