....prior to entering medical school?

I'm curious to know what experience any of you had with this type of program. I'm looking into a few one year certificate programs to improve my chances to be accepted into medical school. Two that I'm really looking at are at Barry University in Miami Shores, FL, and the program at Eastern Virginia Medical School.

Any information you can give me would be much appreciated.
