Did anyone take DAT without Destroyer ?

Hi guys,
I wonder if there is anyone who did take DAT without Destroyer recently ? If so, did you get over 20 ?
I am studying Kaplan blue book, topscore , achiver and some text books, but NOT DESTROYER. So, since most of DAT takers study Destroyer, I kindda worry . Anyways, I am going to take DAT this Fri .
Thanks for any advices.

Yes, I did not use DAT Destroyer and I was able to score over 20 on all sections except PAT.

I mostly used just Kaplan and TopScore.. that got me a 20 TS and a 21 AA
But the more resources you have the better it is.

earned a 20 AA and 21 TS without. Retaking in late October after spending the previous two weeks reviewing it. I do feel I've plugged in several areas of misunderstanding by reviewing the questions and right/wrong answers, but it's not needed to do well.

Destroyer is simply another resource, it's not the key to achieving success on the DAT. People like it because it is a little more challenging and it highlights things that are sometimes skipped in other resources.

I used Kaplan only. But I didn't get above a 20. 19AA 18PAT, only broke 20 in bio and gchem (I think). Check my predents to the left.

Never touched Destroyer because I heard: 1. It's real strength is O Chem, and 2. All the Ochem that you will need for the DAT is in the Kaplan Book.
OChem21, GChm25, AA21, TS21, PAT24.

I only used the Kaplan blue book and the Barrons DAT book. I didn't take any prep courses. I scored 21 AA, 21 TS, and 21 PAT.

Beware of the Barron's book. Although it was good to get a different set of practice problems, the book is plagued with typo mistakes. Even the PAT problems are filled with drawing mistakes.

I really think that destroyer is the key to the success in ur sciences. But u also need to study other materials as well.

I only used Kaplan, 5-6 hours a day, weekends off, for about 3.5 weeks. I did well on the test, scores are in my pre-dent file. I didn't look into other books, I wish I had though.

first time i took it i only did kaplan and top score i got 20 :AA 20: PAT 20: TS, when i retook i did destroyer and achiever and kaplan and top score I got AA:20 , TS: 21 PAT:22
