Has anyone taken their Part 1 Exams in Dec 2002?
I am planning on taking them in June 2003 and wanted to know how they went.

I am assuming a lot of folks here are from India and in our dental curriculum, BioChemistry is not very extensive.

Any tips and Tricks for BioChem?

Its also been 5 yrs since i completed my internship and it seems like im starting all over again.....😱

compdent, yes the biochem part is always tough!
but dental decks r really good ! i never studied biochem much in india!
the dental decks and question papers r the ultimate things to do! if u get kaplan material thats well n good!
it's nothing to get worry about! the moment u'll star studying u'll feel y i was worrying so much for biochem!

Is anyone from Indianapolis or aroud thios part of the country taking their exams this July. We could form a study group.

am from india too! nice to know there are so many out there! am from PA...am preparing for the july part 1 too....lemme know if u guys wanna stay in touch ..... decks are good yes....kaplan is so much more from the medical standpoint...i wonder how good it is....anyone out there whos given part 1 earlier and can tell us about kaplans use in all this???

Hey all,

From all that i have read here and after talking with several people who have taken the exams, this is my plan of action.

Study Dental Decks. ( 2-3 times)
Do All the Exam Reprints (2-3 times)
Use Kaplan Notes only to brush up topics (once)Its too detail...
Use any School notes if i have the time. (once)

I basically dont have much time to spare.

I finally have collected all the study material and have to start preparing seriously now...........

and as for decks they go pretty fast methinks....😛
