Hey guys!

I was just wondering if anyone that took the DATalready saw anything unsual or new not covered in Kaplan book?? I've been working mostly with the Kaplan material. =)

Such as:
-Biology terms?
-new Organic Chem techniques/lab material?

Thanks a bunch! =)

As for Bio on the actual DAT, there are A LOT of stuff not covered by the Kaplan. I felt that even with both Topscore/Achiever, I still wasn't sufficiently prepared for Bio. Others have said that Schaum's bio is a good source, so maybe you can take a look at it.

As for OC, Kaplan should be suffiecient to pull off a 20 on the section, but don't hesitate to use other resources like destroyer and achiever as well.

I think you are in for a suprise lol. I would look to utilize other study materials other than just the kaplan book if you are looking to score well on the test. The kaplan book is a good overview but I would not bank on just the kaplan book producing DAT scores of 20+. The first time I took the test I used just the kaplan book and AcetheDAT (<--not recommended) and I made a 17AA/17PAT. There are plenty of other study materials out there...Topscore, Destryoer, Achiever, Baron's, Schaums, AcetheDAT, CracktheDAt, Old textbooks etc. I think you should utilize other sources but that is just my opinion, I am sure people have done well using just Kaplan.
