The first half of the test seemed like cherry pie, then after my lunch break it just got more a more obscure. It may have been fatigue or the 4 hours of sleep catching up with me, but it really seemed like they started laying it on. Anyone else have this experience?

I think i was lucky, my test was pretty well spread out with difficulty. My first block was one of my easier ones, which was good because it gave me confidence and relaxed me a bit. My hardest blocks were like 4,6.

I felt it got harder after my first break because 1) I was probably getting tired and 2) It took me a while to get back into the flow after a break. Since I took my first break after 3 blocks, I thought my 4th block was the hardest, and the rest were kind of equally difficult... Also, I thought my first was the "easiest" maybe because I felt ready to get the test started 🙂

I think most people notice that the blocks are of varying difficulties. My first two blocks were by far the hardest. The third and fourth were easy and the rest somewhere in the middle.

probably mental fatigue is my guess. plus once you start feeling unsure about one thing, it kind of snowballs

People who have tremendously difficult first blocks have their moods ruined for the rest of the day 🙁

I definitely felt that way! The first couple of blocks were a breeze.... haha... Or as easy as could be expected for such a horrible test... And after lunch, my test decided to fight back ferociously! =/

Well it's the opposite that happened with me. The very first question I got totally freaked the hell out of me. The second question, no different. So first two questions flagged, not answered, 5 minutes already wasted, move on to 3rd. At the end had 5 unanswered questions and 4 minutes left. I was totally depressed and discouraged. Thanks to God, I recollected myself before the start of 2nd block just about in time! From then on things went rather smooth but I had to desperately try and transfer my first block to just an old memory. Last block and second last blocks were relatively very tough as well.
