I've already interviewed at one TUCOM (NV)...Have a TUCOM (MI) interview coming up.
Was wondering if anyone was in a situation where you had to decide between either the two TUCOMs or between COMP and the TUCOMS?

oh well, don't sweat it...I didn't get any love from COMP (after a less-than-gracious experience with some of the admissions office staff) but was still curious to know what people's thoughts were if they chose one over the other. A lot of people seem to mention SoCal as being their reason for choosing COMP...

I applied to both TUCOM-MI and COMP. I went to my COMP interview and liked it there, but declined my TUCOM-MI interview, partly because of funds, and partly because I would have gone to COMP over TUCOM-MI anyday. If you want specifics, PM me.

I am currently in that situation, having been to TUNCOM and interviewing next week with COMP

my initial decision is already made though (however bad that might be) that I probably am going to go to COMP *IF* they accept me

I liked TUCOM_NV and they really do have a great admin. and teaching staff.

I think I am partial to COMP because of its location in SoCal and that is where i have grown up and currently live...plus COMP is also a great school with terrific rotations--as is Touro.

haha..thanks Hema..i totally intend to. I hope I dont get too nervous being that its my top choice and I kinda have a tendency to put pressure on myself to do the best I can.

I think im gonna have the dry cleaners use EXTRA HEAVY starch on my dress shirt that day. HAHA😛

You'll be fine. It's very low key. I'm not sure about the extra heavy starch...I imagine smoke signals rising...🙂 Best of luck.

I suppose that's hard to figure out, but I'll be actually matriculating into med school this coming August, so I'll be in the class of 2011 as you will be 🙂. Still deciding on schools and going to interviews. I have done my fair share of research on COMP though. Best of luck.
