That QuinnNSU is not only an accomplished ER resident, but a great Unreal Tournament 2004 gamer as well? 😎

See, I thought all his bluster was just in our sandbox here, but I didn't know he actually struck out well in the real (well, Unreal) world. I pseudo-know someone who is sort-of maybe someone nearly famous (like the guy on Super Millionaire who was the 98th most influential person in Idaho last year). Go figure.

I haven't played 2004 yet but I was pretty darn good at the original unreal tournament.

Love zero G

Last week, I handed off the ED Tech trauma pager to my relief at 23:02, and at 23:06 there was a double trauma. Two with GSW's, unknown perpetrator, it was on the news. I assisted with as much as I could, mostly just clearing bloody backboards out of the way, and when Charge said the room was too crowded, I went home.

I played Nightfire for an hour or two. James Bond FPS. Fun game. And then I thought, "hey, is this sick or what? In the real world, guns and violence and tragedy... and here I am popping mercenaries with a silenced PPK."

Now I think we are all perfectly fine. Blowing stuff up is healthy. Quinn does it!

Ah, you are too kind. You were the 2nd highest scorer in that game, and I must admit quite a good person to have on the Onslaught team! We'll have to play again sometime.

I've been a nerdie nerd my whole life... an accomplished video game player, pron surfer, reality show watching, central line placin, speculum exam doin', occasional DRE giver.

Time to take a nap (post call), wake up, and play some UT2k4. Might throw in a chapter of Tintinalli's while I'm at it.

Q, DO

BTW, if you get good ping, check out the SAS server. It seems to be a good one.

The IP is ut2004://69.93.40.68:7777 and their website is www.sascentral.com

I pretty much play there exclusively nowadays.
