I also found out I matched somewhere... thank Goodness... so Thursday is the day! However, I am not sure when I will actually find out where I am going because I will be having my baby that day since I am scheduled for an induction. That's okay, I will be happy anywhere (my true worry and stress was over matching) and we have been waiting for this little guy... besides I have been on bed rest for preterm contractions and now for preeclampsia so I am ready to be with my new son, daughter and husband without being "confined!"

Again, best wishes to all and can't wait to see those of you again who I have met and those who I have yet to meet...

Theres wireless internet throughout most hospitals. You can probably get your husband to go look on line for you, I'm sure doctors/residents would understand.
chances of you having your baby right at announcement time is probably pretty low.

That is what I am hoping for... I am taking my laptop just in case, but I do think that the residents and attendings should understand if I want to hop on one of the hospitals computers briefly (they know I'm a medical student). My Dean offered to call me with the results, but I think it may be more exciting with the anticipation of logging on and finding out... plus, Monday was just scary and my nerves were on edge and my heart pounding... Thursday will just be exciting because I only ranked places I would be happy attending! Congrats to you too!!!!!

I am just happy to have matched into PM & R, and I can't wait to find out where I will be going. Thursday can't come soon enough. You are just happy to find out you MATCHED, and then if you don't get your first choice or have to live somewhere that wasn't your top choice, there is a little disappointment. But then you remember that in a few years you will be doing the specialty that you truly love, and trust me that is what really matters in the long run. So everyone, just take a deep breath and be happy you matched🙂
