I've been reading some schools website and they require us to send in application processing fees, the average is about $50-75. So we have to pay for AADSAS, this, and secondary fees(if we get them)?

You pay Aadsas first, and then send out individual app. fee to every school you've applied to. Some schools will contact you and ask you to send the fee. For others, you should send the fee as soon as you can.

Yes, dental school applications are pricey.🙂

You could say that AADSAS is charging you a fee for what they do... and that each school charges you a fee for reviewing the file that AADSAS sends them. If it helps you to sleep, think of it that way.

My advice is to send in the payment and secondary supp. apps ASAP. You can find the info on the AADSAS page after you submit under "At Designated Schools" (I think) and it will say what to do alongside your application thru the common house.

Does the AADSAS application fee of $60 per school (after the first school at $195) include sending DAT scores too? or $25 for DAT scores separate?

the three types of fees will be:
1) AADSAS: This one place will send your app out to each school.
2) Secondary: the school will request a fee from you or you will be required to send in their secondary fee the same time you submit aadsas. For each school you apply to find out to see if you should send in a secondary fee right away or if you should wait to send it in until the school contacts you.
3) ADA: the fee you will pay to have your DAT score sent out to all the schools.

Then comes other fees like interview trips, planes, train, cars, hotels, food, etc.
And then hopefully deposits and tuition, etc. Then after 4 years of getting kicked in the shins you graduate and finally get paid.

1/2 way there....😎
