Difference Between End Point Potential and Action Potential?

I'm pretty sure I know the difference but can someone explain THIS question's answer. Why is the answer not end plate potential which is specifically for muscles.

My understanding is that an EPP is akin to the spark that sets off an action potential. Or, in other words, an AP is the propagation of an EPP throughout the muscle which leads to muscular fiber contraction, thus it would be more accurate to call this an action potential than an EPP, although both have roles in this question making it fairly confusing.
