Pay what you can is for a simple answer to questions. BSD is better for more sustained advising through the cycle, including essay feedback and interview preparation.

She should check to see if her school will help with this. I know not all do, but we guarantee our alums we'll keep supporting them post-graduation as they apply. Personally, I think given how common gap years are, for a schools health professions office to not support alums is a bit disingenuous.

I spend a lot of time most summers reading materials and doing practice interviews into the Fall, sometimes for students who graduated a decade ago.

I agree with my colleague to exhaust your current resources. That said, understand by asking now, you may have to wait. I suspect that is why so many people are scrambling to find help or feedback and seem willing to pay.
