I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this course:

The Difficult Airway Course - Anesthesia

My department gives us a little stipend for a course or an annual meeting and i was looking for something to attend. I was considering going to this one. The price is a bit steep, so I want to make sure that it is worth going to.

Most of these courses are way overpriced for the experience they purport to give you. About the only benefit I see in them are the pig trachs you get to put emergency cric's into. Everything else is with intubating dummies and your department should have plenty of those to go around. If your department doesn't have some of the equipment listed, you will likely never use it after residency from lack of experience with it and a two day course is unlikely to change that level of experience.
