Next-Gen Stethoscopes Include iPod Dock

Just saw this via Gizmodo...Doesn't look like they've actually produced a new product, but the idea of selling it all in one bundle and for this use is something I haven't seen. If you are a med student and plan on buying this, don't say I didn't warn you.

I would add that you shouldn't buy any amplified stethescope, unless you actually have a documented hearing problem. Otherwise you're just asking for it.

I like how they say it wouldn't be right to "let" the docks have ipods. Most folks I know have an ipod or some other mp3 player. We just don't go around using them on the wards, because that would be stupid.
