I applied to pharmacy this fall, but am becoming more and more interested in a career as a physician. My problem is that I will potentially be starting pharmacy school next fall. I am only in my second year of school and I see my options as getting out of pharmacy and pursuing another major, sticking with pharmacy and applying to med school with a Pharm.D, or just applying from pharm school with out finishing. Medical advisors tell you to choose a major that you love and are interested in, mine is pharmacy so I would like to get the pharmacy degree and go to med school. I have heard adcomms may look down on leaving pharm for med. Does anyone have any advise concerning these circumstances? I am just at a loss because I don't want to drastically cut my chances for med school by starting pharm.
