Hey y'all,
I got approved for a Direct PLUS for the max cost of attendance but Direct Loans sent me a letter today saying that while I was approved, it doesn't guarantee that I will receive the loan since the final part is dependent upon my university's final decision on the matter.
What issues might cause the university to not give the green light for my Direct PLUS? I don't owe the school anything and all my finances are in check as far as I know. I contacted my financial aid office but they are a bit on the slow side as far as replying. Can anyone shed light on this if they've experienced something similar?
